Scientia (Latin) - means "to know", or pertains to "knowledge", which is to be taken as a unified holistic body of knowledge. Now days, science has become more about empiricism, with emphasis on the Scientific Method as the methodology (and has become more synonymous to Physics). It is no doubt a good method, and we should no doubt rely on empiricism, but unfortunately it has ignored the larger aspects of life beyond our normal senses (thanks to the influence of positivism and the more extreme form of scepticism). Mainstream science become dogmatic and has betrayed its own method; not only ignoring other parts of life in staying strictly in the mechanistic viewpoint, but also shunning those who criticize mainstream "scientific" theories (such as Relativity, Quantum Theory, Black Holes, Big Bang, Global Warming, Dark Matter & Energy, etc).
This thread will encourage the proliferation of scientific theories from many different viewpoints; presenting, analyzing, critiquing, and giving supporting evidence for why these theories have merit. Science is meant to be systematic, but also open to differing viewpoints.

Some time ago, I looked into this theory called the Wave Structure of Matter, which presented to solve the 'wave-particle' duality of light and matter by positing that they are made up of 'spherical standing waves'. It's quite a very interesting theory, and got me thinking about vibration and interaction (both on the physical and overall universal level).
The video above is done by Ray Tomes, whose work is into Harmonics Theory; something related to the Cymatics and Music of the Spheres videos in my last post. Here's an explanation of this theory done by Geoff Haselhurst of the Space & Motion website.
