| I'm studying ancient Egyptian history more in depth, at the moment. Focusing on the Old Kingdom, the pharaohs Sneferu, Djoser, Khufu, and so on.
What are you studying, mannequin?

What are you studying, mannequin? The overproduction and underproduction of dopamine and how it relates to mental disorders and criminal activity. The possible recovery of various mental disorders using a variety of methods ( food, exercise, learning, herbal, modern medicine etc ) Also Mao activity and the regulation of neurotransmitters. The cannabis plant, specifically in its raw form, and the health benefits when consumed which focuses on THCa and the juicing method.

| I have studied WWII Naval warfare, primarily from the technical aspect, the details of the ships but that also led to how effective those ships were in battle.
I read a lot about Zen Buddhism, so I suppose you could say I was studying about Zen, rather than practicing it.
I started piano lessons in my youth and am starting to pick it up again, plus I've had a life long interest in music, primarily classic but many other genres as well.
I suppose that will do for now.

According to what I've read dopamine is produced in response to physical activity, have you found any correlation between the type of activity and the effect on mental disorders or mental health?

I'm pretty much all over the place when it comes to my 'studies'; for some time, though, it's been somewhat more on the history of politics and origins of political ideologies. I generally like to look at topics that are considered to be 'taboo'; things that are of deep thought.

It depends on what you mean physical activity, dopamine can be produced from eating food, having sex, drugs etc.. It's also released in different places having different effects. There's also a whole bunch of other neurotransmitters involved that affect other things too. If you're talking mainly about sports, then yes, physical exercises produces dopamine, in fact, it's one the things encouraged to do in order to treat a mild depression. However, it depends upon the individual circumstances , what mental disorders they have and how long it went on for untreated. In some severe mental disorders, such as major depression untreated for a lengthy amount of time actually has next to no response to physical exercise in the form of dopamine production, no euphoria or "good feeling" is felt during the activity and after. To give you a more visual understanding.. My man on the right is big pimpin! he's doing his thing you hear me? he on the grind 247, you already be knowing!..pimping those chicks and stacking those chips.. My man on the left, well, life is pretty much over..but there is still hope..

| I wasn't trying to be specific, I was speculating as to what activity might be beneficial to which mental deficiency, as a topic of inquiry. And as you are doing the research I thought you might have some insight into the subject. | |

Anything ~ everything which interests me in the moment of looking, especially nature and the Universe at large...though that study would at times be more of a contemplative nature. But I suppose that if compelled to, I would have to say human nature. I like to know what makes us "tick". One doesn't necessarily need to crack a book for that. Also the human mind which might be an ad continuum of the above. A better understanding of how we think and how to better think. I also so enjoy struggling through and learning better ways to hone my skills when it comes to painting images of emotions/thoughts/physical landscapes through words...such as poetry. Words and communication is so important and beautiful.
