| I've got nothing to lose, nothing to hide. Something tells me you can decipher this information I'm about to give to you.
When I close my eyes, After a While
I began to c, the World Around Me
Double Vision.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I close my brain, I can see my eyes
Or rather, when I close my eyes, I can see my brain
Not just the platches and splotches
But the actual brain, pink stuff, the maze
| I see different color mixtures, shapes and images whenever I hear specific types of music, e.g Ambient. | |
Hmm. Be more specific, do you mean the kind of blobs you see when you close your eyes? Or do you see them when your eyelids are open? To clarify myself, I firmly believe that anyone with sufficient ability can see with their eyes closed. One must be still, one must clear the mind of senseless chatter.
To clarify myself, I firmly believe that anyone with sufficient ability can see with their eyes closed. One must be still, one must clear the mind of senseless chatter. It's my mind. The eyes are closed, there is like a canvas with colors mixing, sort of like how watery liquid painting mixes, sometimes it is just shapes and 3D objects all in white, other times it is images, images of sides of buildings, back streets, walls, hills etc I can see with my eye lids closed, but it is not vision the way eyes works, but rather a sense. I can look people in their eyes with my eyelids closed and know they are looking at me, I would also go as far as saying that they can sense me looking at them when my eyes are closed.
When I close my eyes, sometimes, while going to sleep, I can see through my eyelids, the environment around me. It's uncanny and very vivid, as if my eyes were still open. The room has to be very dark in order for this to happen, though. Also, sometimes, while going to sleep with my eyes closed, I begin to see these geometric and fractal patterns coming at me.
I can see with my eye lids closed, but it is not vision the way eyes works, but rather a sense. I can look people in their eyes with my eyelids closed and know they are looking at me, I would also go as far as saying that they can sense me looking at them when my eyes are closed. I meant more along the lines of seeing physical space. It is faint, and still more like a sense though, but not in the sense of an aura or gut intuition. - mannequin wrote:
The very word itself "senseless chatter" is an oxymoron, so it's an unanswerable question. I'm not one of those dweebs that believe in 24/7 meditation, thought has a function and discernable purpose. However to achieve this technique one must silence their mind. Senseless chatter is an oxymoron because you could not percieve senseless chatter, as it would be outside the realm of your senses. As such it is only a figure of speech.
Already clarified the definition of sense for you.
No, your very understanding of existence is what seems to be limited. An internal monologue consisting of nothing but sports, social goals and maths of 2+2=3 makes just as much sense as a monologue consisting of complex maths and thoughts concerning world improvement. They both make an equal amount of "sense", thoughtsense. One leads to one path, the other leads to another path. There is only one correct path, so although both systems create an equal amount of "sense" they both lead to incorrect paths, in all likelyhood long detours and sidetracks to the main goal - nonexistence. What path are you on?
Hide what? That you don't hide your love of women's clothing? Don't care either way, it's not like human social norms matter to me one way or the other.
| noooooooooo don't tell everybody! jeeez woman! that's something my lying self does hide! My legs are not that open! but I was referring to my future sex change into an outspoken lesbo woman with my head shaved and my punk alternative style, with a misanthropic attitude to the point that when my legs are completely open, nobody should expect me to take accountability. | |
You didn't hide it very well, since you talked about it openly in another thread. As for my shaven head, I wasn't going for a punk style, my other avatar is more purple and green.
I did talk about it openly along with my incredibly small penis, my shitty skid marked pants, my large stash of viagra pills and various other things..I guess I was relying on people's terrible memory for it to remain hidden. Nice that you remembered, thanks..actually makes me feel more comfortable being about these things now, but i'm not going to bore your careless self about any of that... BE BACK LATEERER!!!! I'M OFF TO BURN MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE!! DIE CIS SCUM..DIE!!!
Belief is not always based in reality, Trixie. Ability of what? Define "see" here. It's possible that what you are actually seeing or experiencing with closed eyes is something which you've already seen, perhaps not on that particular day or day before or month before but some memory which you at a conscious level had not even realized that you had seen but your unconscious "picked up on". Some people might tend to "believe' that it is an ability or a special gift only because they don't understand the workings of the brain and they see it as something unique - though in a sense everything which is effected by the mind/body connection is unique and wonderful. Sometimes we have to take the scientific approach and doubt our beliefs.
That's not an oxymoron, Trixie. An oxymoron might be silent chatter or senseless coherence or bittersweet. - Quote :
Senseless in this case means having no subjective meaning...like silly gossip or "nonsense". One can and does perceive senseless chatter by reason of their intelligence. Context is important.
The context was about the human mind, not a talking non-sentient audio machine in the middle of a forest.
