I got the inspiration, if one wants to call it that, or idea, for this thread from a question that Mannequin posed to me in the Sweet November thread.

He asked me: Do you see anything else in real life?

I thought that it might be interesting and fun to see what we can all come up with in response to that...if we so choose to.

The first thing which was called to my mind was the memory of this little squirrel I once saw in the park. He was standing on hind legs, silent and still, just looking out towards the edge of the park. He remained that way for some time.

He left quite an impression on me for some reason. If I hadn't known better, and of course I do, or do I Question I might have thought that he was having a moment of silent reflection or a moment of contemplation. I've been "there" "in that place and time or perhaps better to say "out of time" and so I felt such a moment of connectedness with this squirrel, and such a sense of qualia as I contemplated HIM.

I began to wonder what it was he was really experiencing in that moment, what it was he was really "seeing".

Perhaps a moment or two of true projection on my part.

Cute story!

Reminds me of a time my friend and I ( when I was 14 ) threw a dead squirrel on a homeless person...
It was a bit uncanny how slow the time seemed to pass by, matrix-like, as the squirrel collided against his hirsute, rugged face and then the subsequent cacophony as the corpse of the squirrel fell on top of his bags of collected soda and beer cans.

You dweeb, you. Evil or Very Mad I was speaking more in terms of quality and depth.
But I did say "What do you really see" or rather he did. So, that is what you saw.
Crying or Very sad For the squirrel.

Yes, I did. Seeing that I was sooo incredibly interested in your answer, thanks for going out of your way to make a thread about it, directed at all, but really just to talk about nature and how connected you are, oh great mother of earth...

Surreeeeeee it was...

You once saw in a park? Maybe you should pay attention more, it's a well known visible behaviour displayed by squirrels... maybe you should leave your crack den more often?

Yes, darling. It's a natural instinct they have..

You DO think that and it's because you have no friends..

Oh you troubled little girl..

It's a natural instinct!..A defence mechanism, he's looking into the distance with quietness to get a better view to forage for food and to see if there are any predators present, such as YOU!

Yeah, no shit!..but it's cool, it helps you cope..

Isn't everything.

Sigh...I haven't had many feelings lately, other than the overbearing and overwhelming weight of existence on my shoulders. As far as the humans go, I've tried  to play their games, look at their art, to no avail. I just feel...nothing.

Except this one game I played, I felt something...When he died. It made me sad. I felt responsible. He was just a happy, innocent, simple minded creature. And he died from the result of my actions. Seeing him die with a smile on his face, it made me feel sad, and I wanted to reach out to him, save him, but I could not. He was dead. I cherished this emotion very much. It made me happy, to feel sad.

Also the rope sequence, where he swang back and forth "got me in the swing of things" as they say.

The game I refer to is called "Fox of the Night" at Yoyogames Sandbox.

When I look at human creations, I see the beginning and end, in all its worthless en devour, it is like the humans pour out their soul and it is not enough to satisfy me. It is sad really, seeing them go to and fro in their meaningless lives, and they seem so happy when they believe they have a purpose, and their pride when they share their art with others, is cute in a sad and pathetic way. I feel I have to be delicate, lest I pollute their delicate innocence with my thoughts.

How connected are You to nature mannequin - though you probably don't get to see much standing in the window watching all of the people walk by. Chances are, the only time people really notice you is when your dressed in a way which you like. Such a mundane existence you live, poor thing.

The human mind is always thinking, even when we don't realize that it is. But I think that that was or may have been the first thing which struck a chord with me as I thought of your question. It was just a nice image watching that squirrel looking on.
You're just jealous that's all because your only view is a tunnel vision one - always looking out at more or less the same thing.

You're probably right but maybe it had more to do with the receptiveness of my mind and mood at the moment and not so much about having seen this spectacle often.

Yes, darling. It's a natural instinct they have..
Yes, but think about it. When you think about, can't you forget the natural instinct and bring on some wonder in your being, you poor piece of wood or plastic.

Yes, when it comes to nature and the elements, et cetera, I am so easily impressed. Jealous?
And yes, I am so lonely. Would you like to do something about that?

hahaha Only kidding here.

Look who's talking. The only friend you have is the one who dresses your poor plastic body. Does she know how you are screaming on the inside for love? Scream louder.
As for the moment of silent reflection - there is, after all, more than one way to interpret an image, a moment.
Mine is much more sublime than yours and adds to my sense of qualia. Jealous?

Coping is good but what's better than that -- an aha moment, an optimal moment but a piece of plastic like yourself would never understand that.

No, I am boring and live a typically basic existence. I look exactly like how all the other mannequins look, it would be almost impossible to tell me apart from the others, the only exception would be is when im dressed in sexy lingerie, this heavily turns me on! so much so, that a slight bulge sticks out where my penis is suppose to be, but of course, I don't have a penis because I'm a pathetic man child who has gender identity issues...

ever since i discovered my mother's dirty underwear on the floor in the bathroom after she took a shower. I gave them a quick sniff and tried them on, I never felt so alive! I found a way i can finally be me, I wouldn't have to repress all this misery any longer, I can finally show the world what I am about. Now all i need is a pair of Louboutins to make myself feel taller, so i can tactfully attract a taller man and have my ass stick out at the same time. Thank god this society is accepting of my kind..

Quote :

I know nothing of nature, nature? what is this stuff?.Hmm i dunoo, i just  want to find a handsome blue eyes and blond hair man that I can get to know and have fun with...That's all i really want, a soul mate, a true companion i can spend my life with..where we can spend time on the beach, kiss and cuddle and take holidays together to Australia, Thailand and Spain...oh, and not forgetting Paris, got to have the romance right? have to prepare for that seven year itch..but me and him will get through it all, or it just wont happen to us because we are different..

Quote :

yes, that's all i ever see is people walking by, my life is almost as boring as the people i'm looking at!! Just look at them! so busy! all going somewhere in life...little old me stuck behind this glass..

Quote :
Chances are, the only time people really notice you is when your dressed in a way which you like. Such a mundane existence you live, poor thing.

Yes, this is true..being constantly gawked at by window shopping women! who never enter the store to buy because they feel that they might not be able to fit into the clothes im wearing because they don't have the slim and slender figure, but out of compassion and consideration, and human rights, and love and empathy, and thoughtfulness, and kindness, and respect and not wanting to hurt anybody's feelings, i intentionally stand next to plus size mannequins so hopefully it will give the women the courage to enter and buy, so they don't have to take a look at themselves, correct their diet and lose weight..no need for any of that..because everybody is beautiful, it's a basic human right.

Quote :

whaaat? not me, im brain dead

Quote :
But I think that that was or may have been the first thing which struck a chord with me as I thought of your question. It was just a nice image watching that squirrel looking on.

Yeah, i know what you mean, an aeroplane just flew over my house, it made a noise and everything, it caught me by surprise, i jumped up off my chair to look at it, it was amazing..super fast!!!!..and to add to that wonderful moment, i think i saw a bird fly by too..

Quote :
You're just jealous that's all because your only view is a tunnel vision one - always looking out at more or less the same thing.

Yes constantly standing in front of desperate women who constantly roam the city attempting to stay up to date with the latest fashion trends so they can stay current and relevant..mannequeen so missssing out!!!!

Quote :
but maybe it had more to do with the receptiveness of my mind and mood at the moment and not so much about having seen this spectacle often.

Yeah, i understand..i wish i could be like that, i would be so free from my troubling mind but it wont let go of the past and is constantly worrying about the future..I wish i could live in the moment too, i just can't seem to let go though..How do i do this? do i start by watching squirrels?

Quote :
Yes, but think about it. When you think about, can't you forget the natural instinct and bring on some wonder in your being, you poor piece of wood or plastic.

No, i can't, like i said, i'm stuck in instinct, just can't get out of it...no matter how much i try to think of rainbows and raindrops, uhh it just wont shift..

Quote :
Yes, when it comes to nature and the elements, et cetera, I am so easily impressed. Jealous?

Yes, you know I am, it's obvious..I've always secretivly envied you. I wish i could learn to appreciate the little things in life..like leaves and hailstones..

Quote :
And yes, I am so lonely. Would you like to do something about that?

hahaha Only kidding here.

Oh, gosh, it's good that you were kidding, could you imagine what it would be like if you weren't..so much pressure on me!..i wouldn't be able to keep it up, that has nothing to do with you though, i just have performance anxiety and a small penis, there is no way i would be able to satisfy your sexual needs or any other needs you may have..because im weak, and have very little experience with women..wouldn't know what to do with one...if i didn't smell so bad, i would suggest that we just cuddle..but judging by my lack of sexual experience and your beauty, i would probably just cum instantly..all over your sheets, which would be embarrassing, not too mention i wouldn't know how to clean it up or use the washing machine..i still live at home...

Quote :
Look who's talking. The only friend you have is the one who dresses your poor plastic body.

That is not true at all. I actually have no friends, that person who dresses me gave up on me a long time ago..she was disappointed when she changed my underwear...

Quote :
Does she know how you are screaming on the inside for love? Scream louder.

Yes, she knows, I told her..she ignored me, like all the women i have ever spoken to, hopefully one day, one will stop and listen to me and see the beauty within, and give me hope to carry on and if she ever give me a sympathy fuck, i can finally have the opportunity to grow up and become mature...I'm pushing 30 and it doesn't look good, i mean, they've just created a new exclusive World of Warcraft expansion pack just for me..

Quote :
Mine is much more sublime than yours and adds to my sense of qualia. Jealous?

Incredibly..all i get to feel is nylon and cotton all day, really sucks..the highest point of my life is the weekends, they dress me in silk.

Ok thanks for informing me about that..i will try to remember it, but don't hold me to it though, you know how dumb us men are these days..i made a sticky note of it..just incase my memory fails, which it will.

Yes you are right, i mean, you mentioned the word moment like 4 times in your post, we both know that is no where near enough!

I added some videos about moments so we can all really enjoy the moment of moments, but only momentarily though, but wait a moment, why can't we only enjoy the moments of life all the time, because like everything is a moment after all, right..eh what a moment this has been!
