The trouble is about sports, whilst the homo sapiens can be entertaining, they become so redudant. They fill everything with uneeded fluff. Why do we hand out sports figures silver trophies at the end of the game? We should hand them bananas.
there is no shame, we should celebrate the genius of what it is, the apes fulfilling a goal, competing in a tribal fashion. Apes get rewarded bananas. There is no shame, but instead the humans dont see the genuine entertainment they provide from their natural behavoir. They don't need to fancy it up and add uneeded value. Stick to what it is, tribal primal entertaining entertainment. There is nothing wrong for competing for bananas, stick to the roots.
Humans are like poor game designers, adding unneeded bells and whistles trying to hide their roots. It's not that more bells and whistles must be added, but more roots. Mix it up. Add in minigames. Don't get rid of the roots altogether, but add some suprises. They don't see the gold of what they got.
If anything, sports are educational, especially those american gladiator type contest deals. In a short amount of time they provide an educational (and entertaining) microcosm of the human saga in one hour. Where as humans wish to drag it out in long detail by their boring and repetitive lives.
Stranglely enough, in this day and age of pencil pushers and feminists trying to push supposed morality and wisdom around, humans seem to be steadily becoming less moral and wise, but at the same time, in addition to being less moral and wise their culture has become much more boring and sterile.
